Betty

Betty

Dog from Animal Rescue Foundation

Betty was one of ARF’s longest-term residents when she found her home: she hit her 365-day mark on September 9, and went home on September 11!

Annie and Emmylou

Annie & Emmylou

Cats from Contra Costa Humane Society

Annie had to have both of her eyes removed due to a severe upper respiratory infection. Contra Costa Humane Society took her in and found her a buddy who had also had to have an eye removed due to an injury. The two hit it off immediately and bonded quickly - they were adopted together on September 27.

Molly

Molly

Dog from Golden Gate Labrador Retriever Rescue

A pregnant Molly was surrendered in April because her previous owner couldn’t keep her and the puppies. While an early prenatal check anticipated a litter of six, in July she gave birth to twelve puppies! After months of care, GGLRR was able to find homes for all twelve new labs – and after all that time, Molly’s foster home decided they wanted her to stay with them forever. 13 adoptions all told!

Pickles and Goliath

Pickles & Goliath

Ducks from Peninsula Humane Society

Pickles arrived as a stray and appeared to not have had access to water, as she was very dirty and in poor feather condition. Goliath arrived in the same condition, and it’s suspected that they had come from the same place as they ran to each other and greeted each other when they were both placed in the same pond. They were adopted together on September 25.
