Why are food banks important?

Pet-centric food banks are resources that offer pet foods and supplies to those in need of support. Rather than making the permanent choice to give up their pets, families can rely on food banks to help them through difficult times. Pets get to stay with their loving families, reducing the number of animals that end up in shelters and rescues.

When you give to Fill the Food Bank, 100% of what you give will be used by food banks to purchase food, litter, and treats for pet parents in their community.

How can I get help with pet food?

If you need help getting pet food, reach out to a Fill the Food Bank partner in your area for more information about their program. Many of these partners operate food bank programs that are open to the public and require little to no qualifications.
