Nulo Freestyle Small Breed Turkey Recipe is a dry dog food with 87% of protein coming from real meat like salmon, turkey, and lamb. The high quality protein provides amino acids that support lean muscle mass and a healthy heart. This recipe includes L-Carnitine to support healthy weight and a smaller kibble size to meet the needs of your small breed dog.

About The Manufacturer

Nulo was founded when Michael Landa noticed an increasing trend of overweight and diabetic cats and dogs, and he set out to find the source of the problem. Michael found that many pet foods were filled with empty calories that came from filler ingredients so he teamed up with animal nutritionists, veterinarians, and food formulators to create recipes with great sources of animal-based proteins that are lower in carbs and use low-glycemic ingredients to promote healthy body condition and stable energy.

Transition Instructions
It takes time to transition your pet to a new food without having digestive upset. Over the course of one to two weeks, you should gradually switch from the old food to the new. Start with a 75% old to 25% new mix, then 50:50, and finally 25:75, until you have switched to Nulo food entirely.
