Acana Regionals Meadowland Dry Cat Food
Acana Meadowland features 75% poultry, fish, and egg ingredients, including five fresh meats in whole prey ratios that include muscle meat, organ meat, and cartilage. Both chicken and turkey are highly-digestible sources of protein, and fish is an excellent source of omega fatty acids, which are important for heart, skin, coat, joint, and brain health! Whole red lentils, whole pinto beans, and whole green lentils are low-glycemic carbohydrates that help to stabilize blood sugar levels. A variety of colorful produce and green leafy vegetables provide such an abundance of vitamins and minerals that there are only three supplements added to this diet: zinc, copper, and choline. Botanicals such as chicory root, turmeric, sarsaparilla root, and juniper berries provide nutrients that a cat would encounter in the wild. This protein rich, all-life-stages diet is a fantastic choice for kittens and cats of all breeds, sizes, and ages.
About The Manufacturer
Acana is a high-meat, low-carbohydrate dry cat food line produced by Champion Pet Foods, a Canadian pet food company that specializes in making Biologically Appropriate pet diets: diets that are as close as possible to what the animal would naturally eat in the wild. All Champion Pet Food diets are made according to the whole prey model, which includes muscle meat, organ meat, bone, and cartilage. The whole prey model provides abundant sources of naturally-occurring amino acids, vitamins, and minerals, meaning that very few synthetic supplements have to be added to make the diet complete and balanced for your pet! Naturally-occurring nutrients are more bio-available than synthetics, and are therefore of greater use to the body. Acana features fresh, regionally sourced ingredients that are preservative free and that are delivered to Champion Pet Food’s kitchens within two days of harvest. Acana cat diets feature 75% meat and 25% fruits, vegetables, and botanicals.
ACANA Meadowland features an unmatched variety of local ingredients that are raised or fished by people we know and trust, sourced from federally inspected facilities and delivered to our Kentucky DogStar kitchens fresh or raw!

YOUR CAT IS SPECIAL
Just like you, your cat or kitten is a unique individual and her feeding requirements will vary with breed, environment, age and activity.
That’s why we suggest using this chart as a starting point, and monitoring your cat or kitten’s weight and adjusting amounts as needed. We also recommend feeding her twice daily and always keeping fresh, clean water available.
When switching diets, it’s important to transition your cat or kitten as it takes time for her digestive system to adapt to the richer nutrient levels in ACANA. Over a 5-7 day period, gradually mix in ACANA, increasing the amount each day so that by day 7 you are feeding 100% ACANA.
† Use a standard 8-ounce measuring cup. Serve dry or lightly moistened. See your veterinarian regularly. To help maintain freshness, we recommend sealing the bag tightly and storing it in a cool, dry location.
ACANA Meadowland Cat is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Cat Food Nutrient Profiles for All Life Stages.
