It is sometimes overlooked that chicken thigh meat delivers more vitamin B, iron, antioxidants and overall nutritional value than its white meat counterparts.

USDA Certified Chicken Gizzard

USDA inspected and approved chicken gizzard is low in saturated fat and sodium. It’s a very good source of protein, vitamin B-12, iron, phosphorus, zinc and selenium.

USDA Certified Chicken Liver

USDA inspected and approved chicken liver is a highly nutrient dense food. Ounce for ounce it contains the most concentrated volume of protein and vitamin A. It’s rich in heme-iron, the most absorbable form of iron. Liver is also high in copper, folate, riboflavin and niacin.

Long Grain White Rice, Enriched

Long grain enriched white rice is an easily digestible grain. It is fortified with B Complex to help break down food into energy and support red blood health. It’s also loaded with iron, calcium, magnesium, manganese, zinc, copper and selenium.

Spinach is used in our dog recipes because it is rich in beta-carotene and lutein and has excellent antioxidant properties. Spinach for dogs is also a great source of vitamin K, magnesium, folate and manganese as well as omega-3 fatty acids and zinc.
