NutriSource Cat & Kitten Chicken and Rice Dry Cat Food
NutriSource Cat & Kitten Chicken and Rice is an all-life-stages dry cat food that features farm-raised, Humane Certified light and dark chicken meat from Minnesota, and USA-sourced, wild-caught whitefish. Brown rice, a whole grain, is easily digested and provides important vitamins and minerals such as B vitamins, calcium, phosphorous, and iron. Peas, a low-glycemic carbohydrate, help your cat feel fuller for longer. Tomato pomace and beet pulp provide fiber that is beneficial for digestive health. This kibble is a good choice for kittens and cats that enjoy a mixed protein diet.

|**Amount of food consumed will vary based on activity level, age, breed, and environment. Standard 8-oz/250 cc measuring cup holds approximately 4.0 oz/114 g of Nutrisource Cat & Kitten Chicken & Rice Formula. At 2-3 months and again at about 6 months, your kitten will naturally reduce the amount consumed. This is due to a natural reduction in growth rate and the reduced need for calories. Consult your veterinarian if you believe your cat is too thin or overweight. Remember it is important to have clean, fresh water available for your Kitten/Cat at all times.|
It takes time to transition your pet to a new food without having digestive upset. Over the course of one to two weeks, you should gradually switch from the old food to the new. Start with a 75% old to 25% new mix, then 50:50, and finally 25:75, until you have switched to NutriSource food entirely.
