Feeding Instructions
The amount of food your dog requires depends on age, activity level, breed and environment. Always provide access to clean, fresh water.
Adult: Feed 1/2 to 3/4 can per 8 lbs. of body weight per day.
Puppy: Feed up to twice the adult amount to puppies.
Combination Feeding: Reduce dry by 1/3 cup for every 1/2 can wet.
Nutrition Statement: Wellness® Venison & Salmon Stew Dog Food is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for growth & maintenance except for growth of large size dogs (70 lb. or more as an adult).
Transition Instructions: It takes time to transition your pet to a new food without having digestive upset. Over the course of one to two weeks, you should gradually switch from the old food to the new. Start with a 75% old to 25% new mix, then 50:50, and finally 25:75, until you have switched to Wellness food entirely.
