What is Holiday Shopping Spree?

Our annual Holiday Shopping Spree campaign is dedicated to raising funds for our local animal shelter and rescue partners. 100% of what you give goes towards helping these organizations purchase healthy food and necessary supplies from Pet Food Express for the adoptable pets in their care.

To kick things off, Pet Food Express will be contributing $20,000. So, no matter what level of commitment is right for you, we'd love your help!

Joybound People & Pets

Thanks to the generosity of Pet Food Express and their Holiday Shopping Spree, we were able to treat our shelter cats to delicious salmon snacks that brought joy and enrichment to their daily routine. These treats not only brightened their days but also became a valuable tool for our volunteers, who used them to help train and socialize the cats, giving them a better chance at finding loving forever homes.

California Pit Bull Rescue

The funds we receive from Holiday Shopping Spree support our organizations’ supply needs throughout the entire year. The funds allow us to order in advance and to send foster families to pick up supplies at their nearest Pet Food Express. This minimizes the waste in time to drive around the Bay Area and meet up with us, so the focus can now be on the dogs in need.

Holiday Shopping Spree 2024 Highlights

Last year we raised over $306,430 to help 115 California shelters and rescues support their adoptable animals long after the holidays have come and gone.

This year, we’ll be collecting funds for 100 of our most active and impacted partners from all over California. With your help, we hope to reach our goal of $300,000!

* Proceeds from the Pet Food Express Holiday Shopping Spree 2025 campaign will be distributed to eligible participating nonprofit rescues and shelters in one of two ways, according to the recipient organization’s choice: Pet Food Express gift cards or credit for orders from the Pet Food Express warehouse. Pet Food Express takes our responsibility to our customers very seriously and 100% of your contributions will go directly to the nonprofit rescue and shelter partners to purchase supplies from Pet Food Express for their pets. However, since Pet Food Express is not a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, contributions to Holiday Shopping Spree are not tax-deductible.
