This diet includes USA-sourced beef, farm-raised trout, USA-sourced turkey, and menhaden fish meal. Garbanzo beans, red lentils, and green lentils provide sources of protein, fiber, and low-glycemic carbohydrates, which help to stabilize blood sugar levels and prevent excess weight gain. This highly palatable diet is slightly higher in protein, fat, and calories than most other diets in NutriSource’s selection, making it a great option for puppies and active adult dogs who have sensitivities or allergies to grains, chicken, potatoes, or peas!

Transition Instructions
It takes time to transition your pet to a new food without having digestive upset. Over the course of one to two weeks, you should gradually switch from the old food to the new. Start with a 75% old to 25% new mix, then 50:50, and finally 25:75, until you have switched to NutriSource food entirely.
