Primal Duck Formula Raw Freeze-Dried Dog Food
Primal Freeze-Dried Canine Duck Formula is a complete freeze-dried raw dog food featuring fresh duck and finely ground, fresh duck bones. This food is high in essential amino and fatty acids, as well as calcium. Organic and unrefined nutritional supplements help with digestion and circulation, while cold-water salmon oil adds omega-3 fatty acids, which help keep your dog’s skin and coat healthy. Primal features antibiotic and steroid free meats with no added hormones, and certified organic produce to complete this well-balanced diet. All of Primal’s ingredients are sourced from ranches and farms throughout the United States and New Zealand.
About The Manufacturer
In early 2000, Primal founder Matt Koss found that his dog, Luna, was displaying early signs of renal failure. After taking the advice of a holistic veterinarian, Matt created his own raw pet food for Luna. He noticed that she quickly began to show an increase in appetite, energy, and overall happiness. After seeing the results of a raw diet firsthand, Matt founded Primal so that other pets could enjoy a happier, healthier, more vibrant life as well.

It takes time to transition your pet to a new food without having digestive upset. Over the course of one to two weeks, you should gradually switch from the old food to the new. Start with a 75% old to 25% new mix, then 50:50, and finally 25:75, until you have switched to Primal Pet Foods entirely.
