Feeding Instructions
This food is complete and balanced, fully cooked, and may be fed as the exclusive diet to your cat as is, or it may be rehydrated. Feed ¾ cup per day for cats weighing 6 lbs, ⅘ cup per day for 8 lbs, 1 cup per day for 10 lbs, 1¼ cups per day for 12 lbs, and 1½ cups per day for 14 lbs. Please note, feeding guidelines are suggestions, and individual needs may vary based on age, activity level, metabolism, breed, and general health. Drizzle a small amount of water to lightly hydrate, or for fuller hydration, submerge in water and let sit for approximately 1 minute prior to serving. Your cat should always have access to clean, fresh water.
Safe Handling Instructions: Wash hands, bowls and serving utensils with soap and hot water after serving.
Transition Instructions
It takes time to transition your pet to a new food without having digestive upset. Over the course of one to two weeks, you should gradually switch from the old food to the new. Start with a 75% old to 25% new mix, then 50:50, and finally 25:75, until you have switched to your pet's new food entirely.
